Manic Monday

Because I don't have anything to say in any sort of proper form....I'm going with

Manic Monday

  •  I chuckle when I realize that I'm being judged by someone who thinks they're better than me.  It truly amuses me.   You don't know me.  You can turn your nose up at me all you want, you doing that proves that, in fact, you are not better than me in any way.  As the saying goes, "Don't act like your sh*t don't stink"  There are few people who actually know me, and those are the only people that matter, after God that is.
  • There are days I wish I could just tell people how I truly feel, just let them have it...alas, I can't
  • I'm enjoying my new found talent...curling my hair with a flat-iron.  yup, I'm pretty talented.  lol
  • Alabama allergies suck, sudafed is my bff.  I'm tired of coughing and sniffling
  • I totally skipped my 10 year high school reunion, as I said I would and I'm not regretting it at all.  I stand by my rant
  • I watched, and enjoyed, Raven's beauty vlog (video blog).  She cracks me up.  I wish I were so beauty savvy.  I stick with my tried and true makeup and hair styles.  Though, because I'm growing my hair out, I'm clueless as to how to style it.  Hence my excitement over curling with a flat iron
  • J won't get on here and guest post, so I'll tell you guys his favorite most hated slang words.  Less slang, more lazy.  In no particular order: Vacay (vacation) ab fab (absolutely fabulous, he couldn't believe this one) adorbs (adorable) convo (conversation), oh and don't respond to a text with "k", he likely won't respond back.  Don't ever "ax" him a question, you best "ask" because he won't answer you.  Use any of these, and he will attempt to beat you over the head with a dictionary.  J and laziness are arch enemies.  He hates lazy of any sorts, other than sleeping in
  • I, for one, am glad that the Alabama Immigration Law passed.  I'm quite fond of citizenship and my country and think everyone needs to be here legally.
  • Please, let Michael Jackson be dead.  Leave it alone.  Have your trial, do whatever, but get off the news channels!  I'm so tired of seeing it.  MJ and Casey Anthony.  Yes, she is guilty, yes, she's a wrongfully-free woman, move on.  Let's get back to what really matters in the news.  What's going on with our troops?  How are they?
  • When did people stop having to pay consequences for their actions?  When did parents start teaching their kids there are consequences.  that every action has an equal and opposite reaction.  And, when you do hit that brick wall, why are people always there to pick the person up so quickly?  So that the consequence never has time to fully sink in and make an impact?  If you don't learn from your mistakes, you are destined to repeat them.  I promise.  I live my life with no regrets because I learn from my mistakes.
  • Why am I the way I am?  Because I was forced to learn from my mistakes, I had to face my consequences.  Why do I keep people at such a distance?  Because I have been taught to.  I'm an open book, what you see is what you get.  I promise.  However, cross me, prove to me that you don't deserve to even see past the cover, you won't...ever again.
  • My mother, J, my closest friends, tell me that I don't/can't hide my feelings toward a person.  That you can read my feelings across my face.
  • I got spoiled having a 4 day weekend with my darling J, and now I'm itching for another getaway with him.  I love time with him.  Even the time we had traveling in the car was amazing.  Uninterrupted time.  Pure bliss
  • I can get sucked into dearblankpleaseblank.com like it's an addiction

I think I have a temper...lol.  I just re-read this, and wow.  However, I'm not going to remove anything, because I am who I am, don't like it, don't read it.
But, really, I am a pleasant, happy person!  I promise!  I just have very strong opinions and I'm not afraid to express them!

  1. ok you are so sweet!! Glad you liked it. And trust me, I only pretend to be "beauty savvy" :) I need to add you to my reader so I don't miss any more posts!

oh and I loved the thing about being forced to be held accountable for ones actions. With two little boys running around? You better believe that I will raise them to know the right thing to do!!
